Miles Christi - Fr. Chazal's Asia District Newsletter

CathInfo will be promoting/distributing/hosting Miles Christi, Fr. Francois Chazal's periodic newsletter for the SSPX Resistance in Asia.

Fr. Chazal is part of the worldwide SSPX Resistance -- one of the "good guys". He supports the 4 Resistance bishops, the SSPX Resistance (including Resistance priests) all over the world, etc.

During my in-person meeting with Fr. Chazal at the consecrations, he asked me about hosting his Miles Christi newsletter, and I told him I'd be happy to host and distribute his SSPX Resistance newsletter.

A Resistance supporter sent me MOST of the back issues of Miles Christi. If you have any of the missing issues, please feel free to e-mail them to me (my username at cathinfo dot com).

Whenever a new issue is released (like today), I will bump this thread with a link to the latest issue.

https://www.cathinfo.com/files/mcspx/MilesChristi-14-2017-5.pdf

It will also be added to the collection of links in the OP.

Over time, the "bump" posts will be deleted, so the thread doesn't get too cluttered.

I added Volume 9 and Volume 11 to the OP, which someone e-mailed in.

As an aside, it may be noted that Fr. Chazal has been serving as the official chaplain for the League of Christ the King.  The League's superb quarterly publication Oportet Christum Regnare always includes an informative and quite often inspiring letter from Fr. Chazal. Information concerning the League and its publication may be found at http://ca-rc.com/magazines

Wow....that's an excellent newsletter by Fr. Chazal. I had to read it through a couple of times to really understand it. Such zeal for the faith is edifying. It describes the big problems regarding the SSPX/diocesan collaboration regarding marriages. And then there's the question of whether or not SSPX priests even understand what type of jurisdiction they have to forgive sins.

I particularly like the story of the Novus Ordo seminarian who knew that the Novus Ordo system is really bad, and, wanting to leave the Novus Ordo, he first went to speak with the SSPX in Manilla, which didn't work out because of the lack of any acknowledgement by the SSPX priest regarding the huge problems in the conciliar church. He then finally went Fr. Chazal's "Bamboo seminary," where he found a home.

It good that the bamboo seminary is growing, despite the hardships there, which miraculously seem to be decreasing (that's interesting, too). It's nice to see that young men don't seem to mind giving up the luxuries of the West.
