Health and Nutrition / Re: Toxic By Design?

Yes, it was. I know that from my parents and grandparents. During the Depression, people used salt or baking soda for tooth powder. Mom was quite poor as a child, so they didn’t go to dentists.  If a tooth got really nasty, you washed your mouth out with alcohol or witch hazel water or vinegar, then grandma pulled it with string and pliers. You just did without.
That is my type of of dentistry!  ^^^ :cowboy:

I am very sensitive to anesthetics...  Last time I had a filling I was sick for 3 days...

It sounds like maybe I could figure out a good recipe and make my own tooth powder but might buy some in the meantime.  Thank you so much for sharing all the wisdom and knowledge!  We are missing this SO MUCH now-a-days!

Growing up all we had was Pepsodent Tooth Powder.  They used to advertise it on radio then Tv with the jingle...You'll wonder where the yellow went, when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent.

The can was shaped like this but blue.

Found a picture

So neat!  Thank you so much for sharing pictures and all!

SSPX Resistance News / Re: Doubtful Sacraments Increasing in the SSPX

As for SSPX Masses, I will go only if I can reasonably find out about the ordination status of the priest. If an unknown priest shows up, I’ll ask around a little bit, maybe check online if there’s information to be had. Normally, there isn’t much time to do this. If I’m uncertain and I can leave without a disruption, that’s what I do. I’ve become accustomed to not having Mass or Sacraments. I had neither for nearly three years during Covid. The one Mass I could physically access was no longer an option because one had to have proof of the “safe and effective sickness 💉 to enter.
My health is not what it once was, so I can no longer work from 6:30-4:00, drive two hours, go to Confession, Mass, and adult catechism, eat dinner, drive another two hours, circle around 45-60 minutes in search of a parking space, walk home, go to bed at 1:00 AM, get up at 5:00 AM, and go to work the next day.
If you have regular access to a certainly ordained traditional priest, Mass, and Sacraments, don’t take it for granted. Go as often as you can because the time may come when it is taken away.
Well said Seraphina. Sorry to hear you are so isolated. Circling around for 60 mins to find a park?? Reminds me of a joke that the young ladies might appreciate. Trying to find a good man is like trying to find a parking space at the shopping centre: all the good ones are taken, and the ones that aren't are handicapped!

Yes, WTC building 7.
There is video footage of Larry Silverstein saying "pull it" referring to the order to detonate the explosives in building 7. There is also video footage of the explosives going off to bring building 7 down. I also believe that Flight 93 was shot down in PA as Donald Rumsfeld stated.

I never believed the Flight 93 Todd Beamer "let's roll" story for a second. Just like I never believed that Bin Laden was captured and killed in the "zero dark thirty" military mission. He was long dead already as Benαzιr Bhutto said and, of course, she was killed shortly after saying it.

I have come to expect lies and injustice from our government. The less I have to deal with the system, the better. Keep your expectations low and you won’t get riled up about every miscarriage of justice.

Oh, wow!  This makes me wonder if tooth powder was originally more common and toothpaste a more modern thing.

Politics and World Leaders / sex-ed not Catholic
« Last post by Geremia on August 10, 2025, 11:00:32 PM »
This is very dangerous, these bills.  It should be in every state, no sex education.
Yes, sex-ed isn't Catholic (Divini Illius Magistri §65):
Quote from: Pope Pius XI
65. Another very grave danger is that naturalism which nowadays invades the field of education in that most delicate matter of purity of morals. Far too common is the error of those who with dangerous assurance and under an ugly term propagate a so-called sex-education, falsely imagining they can forearm youths against the dangers of sensuality by means purely natural, such as a foolhardy initiation and precautionary instruction for all indiscriminately, even in public; and, worse still, by exposing them at an early age to the occasions, in order to accustom them, so it is argued, and as it were to harden them against such dangers.

This is very dangerous, these bills.  It should be in every state, no sex education.  The federal gov't grants are changing words and phrases.  This another attempt, since 1987 or so, to bring sex education into schools.  Here in AZ, it was in the state laws, no sex education( even abstaince based education was a way to wiggle their way in.)  Even then, sex education made its way into parochial and private schools, for they don't answer to the state, BUT, they are to answer to God.  Instead they answered to $$$. This happened in 1987, for I read federal grants.

So, who put these states up to these bills??

I don't trust trump.  He may stop federal grant $$, no, he does not stop, he re routes it.  He is not pro-life.  He rerouted $$ to Susan B. Anthony for an example. They claim they are pro-life, they are not.  They can not stop contraceptives/abortion pill, and can not stop the so-called education of sterilization which is #1 birth control.

Remedy: take your kids out of the public schools!
