Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more.  It's not all a show.  Of course when somebody does something unjust to you that may cause others to perceive you in a way in which your not, such as being excommunicated, you stand up for yourself.  Of course the excommunication is invalid in every which way including Tuesday!!!  And some day we do hope that Rome comes back to the Catholic church because like it or not, that's where the head of the fake Catholic church is now, though they think otherwise.  And of course, the resistance needs to keep attacking the SSPX to continue to justify their reason for breaking away from them.  By their fruits you will know them.  God has blessed the SSPX with new religious, churches, faithful for many years and it continues to thrive and grow. And we are not the "neo" SSPX. Respectfully, I disagree with Fr. Girouard.  To believe him is to say that all are priests are lying to us or are just plain stupid .  Neither are the case.

Aren't you a Brazilian faithful of the Resistance? You do know that Bp. Aquinas accepts Novus Ordo ordinations, right?
If he does, he is an outlier.
But honestly, I think you should produce something to prove that.

In defense of Fr. Jahir and his priesthood

We would like to record here our vehement disapproval of those who, among the sedevacantists, attack the Rev. Father Jahir Britto and deny his priesthood.

It is lighthearted, an act of pride to call into question the priesthood of those who, within Tradition, have always done a great job, like Fr. Jahir, who founded a religious congregation that served and serves countless souls, and whose priesthood was received from a bishop of traditional spirit.

Dom Lefebvre did not question the ordinations in the new rite. The only thing he said can be questioned is the bishop's intention, and there is no reason to doubt the intention of the bishop who ordained Father Jahir, as he was an old-fashioned bishop, a bishop that Fr. Jahir chose it for its more traditional spirit. So, calling into question the priesthood of the Rev. Padre is disturbing the faithful in an undignified and irresponsible way.

We rise, therefore, vehemently to defend the priestly honor of Fr. Jahir and remember all the good he did to souls in Bahia and outside Bahia, as well as the good done by his community and in particular by Fr. Joaquim, who was trained by Fr. Jahir and who has assisted souls in many states of Brazil. For the honor of Fr Jahir, his monastery and his faithful, we make this protest, and more than a protest, a condemnation of those who disturb souls by questioning the priesthood of Fr. Jahir Britto.

May Our Lady bless us and protect us from all error and all groundless disturbance. So be it.

+ Thomas Aquinas, OSB

Fr. Peek is a good Priest. When he did his sermon, he must not have known what his Superiors had done the day before (July 11), because they have released the information in English only on Monday 13th. What the Neo-SSPX superiors did, was to appeal the decree of Excommunication to a Conciliar Church Roman Court. According to the Conciliar Canon Law, this appeal is suspending the punishment.

If you scroll up this thread, you will see Fr. Girouard's reaction to this. I shared it yesterday.

Father Girouard, since February 2nd, always told us the whole thing was a show, and the goal is to prepare the "conservatives" in the Neo-SSPX to accept a full canonical integration into the Conciliar Church.

The Neo-SSPX leadership is the same now than in 2012, and have not changed their beliefs and their goals. But they know most of the rank and file priests, like Fr. Peek, do not want such a deal with the Conciliar Church.

This is why Menzingen has to pretend to be super-conservative and combative of errors. Then a deal will come, and Menzingen will pretend Rome caved in, and recognized the SSPX "as we are", and many anti-Conciliar priests, because of the show playing since Feb. 2, will believe Menzingen, and will not leave and join the Resistance. That is the whole goal of the Menzingen play-acting.

If it's all a show, and the goal is to prepare conservatives in the SSPX to accept a full canonical integration into the conciliar church, then wouldn't it have been necessary for the SSPX to have been dialoguing in secret with Fernandez? And quite possibly Leo? Is there any indication that there have been secret meetings with Fernandez or Leo?

It's so easy these days to exchange e-mails or make videoconferences. Even their pictures together might be fake. The deal might be closed even if they never set foot in Rome. When dealing with liars, we are always suspicious.
