Well, 112 investigations (another 70 cases with no investigation).  I inadvertently added an extra 0.

In any case, the main point is that this number of cases includes 4 Dioceses PLUS the SSPX with no indication regarding how many of the 112 investigations involved the SSPX.

I suppose Church Militant did not get enough public outrage over the SSPX scandal, so it now has no choice but to resort to the old "their a bunch of neo-nαzιs" routine:

Yeah, they just won't stop.  When they switch issues like this, it's a clear sign that they just have it in for the SSPX in general.  They weren't simply trying to shut down the pederasts.  As I detected right out of the gate, this is a broader campaign to attack the SSPX.

If a priest is found, in a court of law, guilty of sex abuse, he should get the same punishment as any other pedophile.  End of story.
Couldn't agree more.

I don't mean this in an unkind way, but the young woman might consider Anglicizing or changing her last name.  "Jacas" --- say it slowly three times.  Sounds rather uncomplimentary.  I suppose the problem would take care of itself, if she married and took her husband's name.

The priest asking the woman to write down all the nitty-gritty of her sex life sounds kind of bogus.  It would suffice, I'd think, to state the ways in which a person can sin sɛҳuąƖly, then let her compare her behavior to the Church's teaching.  In this particular case, I could be wrong.
