I get that because the Christian life is long and arduous we can enter into dark nights of the soul and even fall back slightly.
I have very sympathy for this and have been there myself so many times.

However when we meet someone, online or in person who we can see has the original pure intention as us in our early days, we should HUMBLE OURSELVES and learn from their zeal while maintaining our wisdom and imparting it onto them, because they do not have it. And not try to knock them and run them down because we are secretly jealous.

Watch over ourselves in terms of all vices especially envy which is one of the seven DEADLY sins dont forget.

Scruples is not something to envy. It is a serious spiritual disorder, and a danger to our salvation. If the devil can push you into scruples or any other excess, you might end by giving up. One minute you're worried about your guardian angel seeing you naked, the next week you're fornicating because your nerves couldn't take it anymore and you've snapped. Scruples aren't a joke or a game, they are a serious danger to our salvation.

You are clearly another dim witted person if you can read my entire post and think I am talking about scruples.

Check your pride.

I appreciate those insightful thoughts you shared, Tom.

I have been regarded or treated as scrupulous by many Catholics, including traditional Catholic priests, for simply being concerned about things the saints were wary about.

Reading their writings has been very vindicating for me.
