  • As soon as the complaint from your subordinate was received, HR (together with upper management) performed a risk assessment to determine what was in the “best interest” of the company, and determined it was riskier to keep you than letting you go.

They we’re more afraid of what waves the devil worshipper might make for them, than what the good guy might do.

HR’s only purpose is to protect company interests.  Those who believe it is to protect employees are naive.
Yes, of course they did. To be charitable to the "victim", according to the cops they were not looking to get me into trouble or press charges they just wanted it to stop. Which means they have no idea who took it and leads me to suspect the cop either clearly saw me take it, or gaslit whoever he talked to until someone fessed up. I think they reported it to HR first and it then went to the police because it is the campus ramp, not owned by the employer. Outside of the bad will of whatever possesses this person to own such a magnet, I don't think they had malice.

The whole thing is bizarre, and I mean it may have been the very demons that agitated against you. I've had it happen to me, and if our Lord allows it, they can do damage to your external goods.
I honestly suspect this too. These things never sit for over 2 weeks and then suddenly drop. There would've been some indication from my boss last Friday if something was up. So some sort of powers are involved here, especially since I made a good confession Sunday :incense:
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

  • No.  This object has no objective right to exist or to be possessed by anyone.  No one has a right to possess it and therefore has no ownership rights to it.  Unless of course you believe in Religious Liberty.  According to Vatican II, they do have a right to own it, and this would be theft.  This is a clear example of the ramifications of Religious Liberty.  But in Catholic reality, no, this is not theft, since they have no rights in justice to own it.
Of course not. It's not a sin to walk by and leave such things alone. I think the point is that it's not a sin when someone takes action to remove noxious filth that has no rights. For example, what if it was an explicitly x-rated picture displayed in public? The common good trumps the self-proclaimed-but-really-non-existent-rights of the filthbearers, no?

Only SCOTUS, only rogue usurped authority - may it all come tumbling down - gives to evil "rights."

Prudence dictates in each situation, and that includes assuming the risk of retaliation. God sees everything and the devil sees a lot. He will retaliate if God permits.

But your advice above was good. Let DL take it to the confessional, where hopefully he will receive correct information.
    Great posts, thanks.

My big issue of uncertainty comes with judging the prudence of such an action. I guess it would come down to personal preference of the consequences especially considering their state in life, and how it could affect those they care for if one of the worse case scenarios happens.
"Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect."
"Seek first the kingdom of Heaven..."
"Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment"

  • You didn’t do theft.  Theft would be “cool.  I want that magnet for my own car”.  You removed it because it was offensive to God and yourself as a Christian. You were the one being harassed.

You removed an evil magnet and got rid of it.  We should all do this.  Where are the Sspx hierarchy to fight against luciferians, satanic masses and pedophile statues with satan and little children.  Novus ordo hierarchy are sodomite luciferians waiting for sex with children to be legal.  United Nations says little children have rights to view porn

What a messed up company that supported satan with jabs & allowing satanic bumper stickers.  A black man wears a Jesus shirt at the mall and they are quick to tell him to remove it.

May God bless you and keep you

  • I will offer my daily trials at work for you to find another good job, for the greater glory of Our Lord. I offer each of my work day to Christ for His greater glory and for more love, devotion and veneration to His Holy Mother and St. Joseph.

  • DL, you should make a bumper sticker to put on your car that says "Satan hates you." :laugh1:

Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear this has happened. I will pray for you.
The mercies of the Lord I will sing for ever. - Ps. 88:2a
St. Anthony of Padua, pray for us.
St. John of God, pray for us.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, mystical rose, make intercession for Holy Church.

  • First amendment never included satanism and hate vulgar speech.  As Catholics, the bumper sticker means hate for Jesus and Christianity.
Yes. Can you imagine if someone had an image offensive to Moslems? The Moslem would have been supported in taking it.

But when a Christian objects to something which offends the One True God, this upside-down society wants to protect the offender and do damage to the Godly man.

This is a form of White Martyrdom.

  • Anyone who thinks Satan loves them has obviously not met the diabolical fellow or any of his minions. People who put such things ontheir vehicles think they are edgy and cool. True Satanists would never disclose their belief. The owner of the vehicle in question is a nearly useless idiot in Satan's eyes.

Part of me would like to go up to such a person and say, "So you think Satan loves you, well, why dont you go down and ask him. Here, I will help you."

If this had happened to a Moslem, they would eventually have gotten a pay raise. You can thank the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ Novus ordo presbyters for this.

  • Well, the positives we have going for us are that we have a good nest egg right now and I should be getting my retirement funds plus what they matched back too, which is a lot. So we have the option of either finding something I like or moving out of state.

God has blessed us with much in the last 6 months, this might be one more blessing. Plus, I don't have to deal with a woke work culture anymore or babysit adults, as much as I miss my boss and coworkers. :jester:

Yes.  Move to a state safe for your family.  Sad that we are even thinking about it.

My wife was talking either NC (where her brother lives) or Montana
