SSPX are a narcissitic cult
« on: July 02, 2026, 06:12:20 PM »
Since they started making deals with the modernists and kicking Bishop Williamson out, I have always remarked on what a cult they were.

At home with neither the modernists they were trying to "convert", nor the resistance which was actually fighting for the faith, they could only turn inwards. And it is which made them a cult.

Everything was about them, about their Masses. Outside the SSPX no salvation.

Now with the excommunication they have finally got a punishment for this self delusion, and I could see them go the way of the St. Benedict center. Out on their own.

But Rome probably wants to toy with them more. Whatever take the attention away from the Resistance and its Bishops.

Does this ever get old? We understand, you don't like the SSPX. A lot of people do not, hence why there are more traditionalist groups than flavors of ice cream at the corner store; the vast majority of whom spun from Ecône.

We did not need to see the same argument regurgitated in different flavors every other day, though.

You seem to have a lot of hate in your heart. Ask yourself, would you be proud if your resistance priest was reading the things that you write on Cathinfo? I know that resistance priests don't wish evil on fellow Catholics. They condemn the errors but don't wish ill.

I literally have resistance priests encouraging my posts.

There is only one Truth.

God would not give half a truth to one group and the other half to another.
