If it comes down to what the OP describes, and maybe it will, then the argument for voting for trump is 100 percent based on how trump is perceived, and zero percent his actual positions.  I mean trump could literally be a satanist, be pro liberal in every way possible, but IF the public perceives him as the conservative option. He’s still worth voting for based on the reasoning in the OP.

Thoughts?

I second this suggestion.  Unfortunately, as of late, the comments have been turned off.  But when they were going, one could easily see what Mark79 was referring to, and how far apart even the 'conservatives' were on many a topic.
