https://www.foxnews.com/us/prankster-arrested-reportedly-filming-himself-spraying-food-walmart-recklessIf you buy loose (not store wrapped) foods in a supermarket, wash them very thoroughly before eating or doing food preparation. Or source them directly from people you know. Don’t be surprised if produce is locked up behind plexiglass.
Putting such an unconscionable act online will no doubt result in copycats even though the post is taken down. All it takes is a few malefactors to see it, save it, and repost it or send it to their friends.
Beware also of buying foods from help yourself bins. Grains, granola, nuts, dried fruit, even baked goods are sold by weight this way in many places. All you do is grab a bag, the scoop or tongs, and take the amount you want. We may need to return to 1930 and before style grocery and other stores as well where nothing is help yourself. At each counter, the clerk gets the product for you. When employees and their outside associates continue to rob the store blind, we’ll be waited on by robots and security drones overhead at the door. Sensors will take or otherwise shock dishonest customers as they attempt to leave the store with purloined goods.
Of course, there’s still mail order, but even then, how do you know the shopper/delivery person hasn’t sprayed your food with poison?
We live in a 🤮 🌎.
