One thing I've learned in my life --

Those promoted as "evil", or thriving on hatred the way most people thrive on love, are seldom as evil as they are commonly believed (or maligned by various talk). That goes for the Mainstream Media, but also message boards, etc.

And those promoted as saintly, good, etc. (usually those on Your Team, I might add!) usually have some rough edges that their friends choose to ignore.

So many people make everything into black and white, as if some people are incarnate devils, and the other side is most of the way towards Canonization.

That's not how it works in this world. You'll find that most human beings are a mix of good and evil, truth and error, choosing God and choosing self.

You'd think more people would be wise enough to know this -- but how many buy into the ridiculous propaganda about Assad, or Putin, for example? Nothing has changed since the 1910's, when Germans were portrayed as subhuman "The Hun", and the 1940's when all the American wartime propaganda said ridiculous things about the Japanese. We would all like to think we're more advanced, more enlightened now -- think again!

  • If anything, things are becoming more obfuscated, if not darn right darker, both intellectually and spiritually.

There are somethings that are clear cut good and evil, and various degrees betwixt the two.

Yes, such as various errors in the world (Feminism, Liberalism, Modernism, Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, тαℓмυdic Judaism, Illuminati, abortion) and certain evil proponents of these demonic systems (Hillary Clinton).

But how many people are quick to place various TRAD CLERICS in the same boat as Hillary Clinton? When those clerics in question have actual followers who believe they are good priests! Such is a ludicrous affront to the truth.

People are way too quick to declare someone "evil" rather than
"he is not on my side; oh well" or "he disagrees with me", or "we have a difference of opinion" -- any of those 3 items are MUCH more accurate and closer to the objective truth.

Somehow we've all been trained to have an "US" and "THEM" mentality about EVERYTHING, even Trad groups. It's ridiculous.

The hearts and minds of TradCats are always in need of continual discernment and education, from trusted Catholic sources. The foundation of. Thought and action must be based on charity and humility. Alas these last two are oft found wanting.
If it were are easy as doing a clean install of an OS on a computer, TradCat minds could so much easily be fixed. ::) :P :D
I havent fleshed out the Mac Linux Windows metaphor as it would relate to the human soul. ;D

  • This is one of the things that turned me off the Dimonds. Anyone Catholic they disagreed with on anything was suddenly the devil working through man and evil itself incarnate.

It is an expected result; because it is sin which darkens the intellect and weakens the will.

As soon as people begin to let sin into their lives, it becomes a slippery slope that never ends and they do not realize because they have been literally blinded.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

I think it is the sin of pride which is behind this. It really darkens the intellect and weakens the will.

Letting go of one's ego is such a liberating; but difficult thing.

People with big egos are slaves to themselves; but they do not realize.

One of the most important and distinguishing elements of Our Holy Religion is the Unity of Faith.

One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism.

We really should not depart from it.

    This is spot on.
I've been saying this for years, I've observed for a long time now how the ((media)) has been demonizing specific leaders at one time or another or for one reason or another, look at how certain countries  (or their leaders)have now become our "enemy" almost overnight in some cases and they have really done absolutley nothing to us, other than put their national interests over the ((global)) entity. It's really pathetic how so many buy into this nonsense. But the reality is, is that many if not most people don't. I find most normal thinking people I meeet on a day to day basis, really don't believe Putin or Assad is our "enemy" or buy into the whole BS going on over there to begin with. No matter how much brainwashing they attempt on the masses.
Personally, I believe in just the opposite on what ((they)) tell us who or what is "evil" on just about every issue.

I find people throwing around this "evil" nonsense really have no idea in the very definition or the truest sense of the word itself. It falls right in line with the word "love" or "hate", 9 times out of ten, those words are used totally out of context.
If you disagree with someone, it is usally on his error, especially in theology, doesn't make the guy "evil" because of it.
The older I get, I find very few "evil" people in the word, just as much as I find very few good ones.

So once a person lets sin into their lives, their eyes are actually gouged out? You said they are LITERALLY blinded. That's what literally blinded means -- it means something was done to their eyes so they can't see anymore.
You're mis-using literally, using it to mean "figuratively" or "actually".

Most people just use the term to EMPHASIZE a metaphor.  It means "this is an extremely accurate metaphor".  It could be taken as shorthand for "practically literally".

I don't know that they're that far off the mark.  We're the victims of many cօռspιʀαcιҽs at the highest levels of government and society, many of them diabolically orchestrated.

I wouldn't actually even call them "cօռspιʀαcιҽs" these days. For example, this present administration doesn't hide the fact at all what their agenda is, particulary it's heavily Zionists leanings, they let the whole world know when they were campaigning what their pro-Jєω intentions were, as well as many other things. On the other hand, Obama and his people were as slipperly as they come in many instances, but , in many ways they were even less transparant on their whole "change" agenda as well.
Personally, I don't believe in many cօռspιʀαcιҽs these days, most of this demonic stuff is out in the open and they're not trying to hide exactly what they intend to do, especially against the Faith and the true Church. IMO.
