Most people just use the term to EMPHASIZE a metaphor.  It means "this is an extremely accurate metaphor".  It could be taken as shorthand for "practically literally".

I wouldn't actually even call them "cօռspιʀαcιҽs" these days. For example, this present administration doesn't hide the fact at all what their agenda is, particulary it's heavily Zionists leanings, they let the whole world know when they were campaigning what their pro-jew intentions were, as well as many other things. On the other hand, Obama and his people were as slipperly as they come in many instances, but , in many ways they were even less transparant on their whole "change" agenda as well.
Personally, I don't believe in many cօռspιʀαcιҽs these days, most of this demonic stuff is out in the open and they're not trying to hide exactly what they intend to do, especially against the Faith and the true Church. IMO.
