Matthew--Thanks. It has been a rather long time...I'm surprised you remember me at all...
Gladius,
I consider myself a slave to the truth, but I also believe in being polite.
Please forgive me for being blunt, but I am forced to say that the second smells worse than the first.
As a gourmet cook, I can tell when the recipe was cooked up after the pudding, and this one is a mess.
Let's limit it to this: what is the real likelihood that one person has been able to wiretap Washington and solve EVERY CONSPIRACY THEORY EVER HATCHED!!! I mean, he's got the goods on everything from the moon landing to 9/11 to Bush being high on coke!
If these people were really that well organized, don't you think they'd be able to prevent something as simple as having their top-secret phone conversations from being recorded?
OK, I'm going to stop before I cross the nice line. I'm partial to 40's millinery and I believe that aluminum foil should be banned. (You realize it has mercury in it, right?)
I will say that I agree that something is not right here, and that I agree that the forces of evil in the world are proceeding at a frantic pace. However, I know this not because of any websites telling me so, but because I can feel it just the same as a dog can hear a dog whistle, or a cat can tell when its pregnant owner is going to deliver. No, I'm not psychic, it's just that obvious. Yes, bad stuff is coming. But we need look no further than our history books to tell us that.
We, of all people, need to remember that we are in God's hands, and no one else's. No one can steal power from God. Don't grieve the Holy Spirit by fretting over which conspiracy theory is "the one"--our faith tells us to place all our trust in Him, and Him alone. To do otherwise is to sin against the Holy Spirit, is it not?
After all, if even a fraction of what this...erm...gentleman...says is true, then He will likely be your only salvation.
Trust not in iniquity, and cover not robberies: if riches abound, set not your heart upon them.
God hath spoken once, these two things have I heard, that power belongeth to God,
And mercy to thee, O Lord; for thou wilt render to every man according to his works. (Ps. 61: 11-13)
