Positive Portrayals Of Religious In Film

I'm looking for examples in film of friars who are portrayed in a good, positive and holy way.

I understand that many harmless friar characters in secular films might not be depicted as obviously participating in the sacramental life, but I'm wondering what footage has been used in showing religious brothers in roles beneficial to their communities and/or the world.

Too often, Friar Tuck is the standard... good-natured for the most part, but generally gluttonous.

Diary of a Country Priest  by George Bernanos

I've never seen the film, but I did read the book.  The author also wrote the book, "Dialogues des Carmelites," which was used as a base for the libretto of the opera of the same name by Francis Poulenc.

Was there a film based on the book?  BTW, my suggestion had a priest, not a friar.  Sorry.

The Mission, although they were Jesuits.
