Quo vadis Domine
He’s just a “bad dad”, nothing to see here, move along…….

Understand you being sarcast here but bring question I have thought before. If family is bad it is blame on bad parent. If country is bad is blame on bad leader. bad czar bad king bad president bad whatever. If naval ship is bad is blame on bad captain. If business is bad is blame on bad boss. Church is bad so blame bad pope. OK. but god is suppose to be father. suppose to be real head of church. So is wrong to say god is bad god? Why?

It is nonsensical to say a “bad God.”  God, Who is Whole and intrinsic to Himself is outside all descriptives. One can say only that He is Good. Bad or evil has no part in Him.  If I knew philosophy and logic as academic disciplines I could explain this better. A bad God is impossible, illogical. A bad god, lowercase g, meaning an idol, a creature that man elevates to the place of God, is indeed ALWAYS bad, whereas God is ALWAYS GOOD.
If there are any seminarians, priests, former seminarians on CI, maybe try to explain this better. I just KNOW God cannot ever be BAD. It’s contrary to sound reason, maybe to Natural Law.

Thank you for response. I try explain question better. We all here say church is mess. often say here is result of sin of people. OK. but seem like blaming children for have bad family and not parent. Is more clear now what I ask?
