Ok.  Then go back to the Novus Ordo.  You can't have it both ways.  7 Popes now have said that the Novus Ordo is Catholic.

Context matters those popes said you can't pray publicly for a known non-Catholic or someone obviously separated from the church, like those who publiclysupport baby killing.  That would confuse people and then they would think there is salvation outside the church.

AND I can't believe you would wish more suffering on a soul in purgatory by withholding your private prayers.  Is that what you are implying?
You are being dishonest. The NO is against Catholic doctrine. Those 7 "Popes' are doubtful that they were really Popes because of their numerous public heresies and acts of apostasies.. You are once again doing your habit for making false equivalencies and making stuff up. Those Popes did not say ONLY public prayer, they said both private and public prayer is forbidden for deceased non-Catholics.

Your last statement is extremely dishonest. Unbelievable, makes me think you might just be a bad actor because no one can be this stupid.

Sorry for not using the right words.  I still think "who does not praying for a non-Catholic serve?"  It doesn't do anything to God, but everything to that soul and that serves the devil.  So there is something wrong.
There are other examples, but I picture a Muslim who got caught and killed right after he just raped and cut off the girl's head. Now there is a guy that I personally believe to be in hell. Aside from possibly saying to myself - "May God have mercy on his soul," we should not pray for that guy.

Now if a devoted baptist preacher were to die during his sermon, we do not pray for him because we are certain he died outside of the Church. On that account and per the dogma, we know that man has no hope of salvation, which is the reason that we do not pray for him.

??? Both the muslim and baptist in your example die outside the Church and hence are presumed to be damned.

NOWHERE did I wish more suffering on the souls in purgatory. If a soul is deprived of relief due to Catholics following Catholic teaching, then that is simply God's just judgement for that soul. It is not a wish for them to suffer more.

Suggestion: Pray daily the Litany for the Poor Souls in Purgatory  and all of your bases are covered. No individuals' names, just categories sure to include everyone who qualifies for our prayers according to the unchanging teachings of the Church. Remember also that Our Lady allocates our prayers as needed, so no mistaken worries ever this way about wasted or misdirected prayers.

Pray also for each other among the living. Almost daily it amazes me again why some here have this unrelenting need to go galloping off on pet tangents that derail worthy conversations into personalized bicker fests.
