Please explain how family roles, family values, beliefs and assumptions, relation to authority, gender roles, rules of conduct, pride, concept of justice, notions of modesty, etc., are all examples of "indifferent matter" that is "morally neutral" and "neither forbidden nor commanded by the Christian religion".

Obviously not, but the two often get conflated.
Just to give one example, though there's many, a man being a stay at home dad while the wife is a doctor might be odd, modern, unusual, undesirable in your opinion because X, but it's not "breaking natural law" or "against the Catholic religion".
