Does anyone know if Fr. Kelley at the time left Econe, along with the other eight , I believe, because they were required to learn the new mass, and possible use it in the future,  ??

let me rephrase the question ,,  "Why did Fr. Kelly , along with the other eight Priests leave ABL group in Econe.",, Was it because they were asked to learn the New Mass, ?

This is the letter they wrote outlining their reasons for leaving the SSPX.

One of the reasons given for their leaving is that the SSPX made its members follow the John XXIII Missal and Breviary. It doesn't mention a plan to make members say the Novus Ordo Mass.
