I could name many success stories of Trads marrying Protestants-turned-Trads.
I know of many success stories of novus-ordo-turned-Trads who married other novus-ordo-turned-Trads.
I’ve also heard of bad stories with Sede women marrying non-Sede Trads and then using the “home alone” doctrine to split up the family, after years of marriage. But this isn’t a critique of Sedeism as it is of feminism, where women can destroy marriages (with the courts approval) for any reason.
Plenty of success stories with Trads marrying. And some tragic stories too.
The horror stories I know of are when Trads marry indult-turned-Trads. Or Trads marry novus-ordo-turned-Trads. For whatever reason, this mix has a low success rate, in my experience. It’s like the indult/novus ordo people never really convert 100%. I’ve mostly seen this with the women.
They attend Trad chapels, get married to Trads and then after 4-5 years, and a few children, they reverse course and (presumably after trying to get their Trad husband to change), then leave Tradition and go back to the indult/novus ordo (either alone or with the Trad husband following). My guess is, this woman can’t shake her family ties to the novus ordo and obviously isn’t strong enough in the Faith or, she never really cared about Catholic principles to begin with.
