Where did you read this, if you don't mind:
the US Navy planning for massive flooding of the USA (retired Navy personnel are buying up property in the Appalachian mountains like it's going out of style)
I wish I could remember --
It might have been from a video I saw.
I have seen lots of maps -- there was a post on ModernSurvivalBlog that showed 9 different "future maps" of the USA and they all agreed quite a bit that the USA will be a smaller place -- at least the dry portions.
I wish there was a way to independently verify the thing about the Navy knowing full well what's going to happen, and ex-Navy servicemen favoring land at high elevations. Anyone know a realtor in the Appalachians?
At least you could google it, and go from there. But it's one thing I heard.
It brings up an interesting point -- what if you hear about 8 different things, each of which you're not sure about, but they all make sense together?
In other words, if 8 different reports all mesh together perfectly, then together they have more than the usual chance of being true.
Just like if I took 8 puzzle pieces and put them together, showing a nice, round ball, you might conclude the puzzle (reality) has a ball in it. It's easy to see things that aren't there in one or two pieces. But when everything fits together?
