Fr. Novokowsky is very pleased to be serving at St. Joseph's since 2011. He studied at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary (then located in Pennsylvania) and was ordained for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in the Jubilee year 2000. Since then he has served in several parishes in Canada and the United States. He obtained a bachelor's degree from Thomas Aquinas College. He hails from Ontario, Canada.
That is obviously a concern. As SimpleMan points out, the FSSP was founded by New Rome to take priests away from the SSPX at the time of the 1988 Episcopal Consecrations. As such, they are, and always have been, in complete submission to the New Hierarchy and presumably their Priestly Ordinations are performed by New Bishops. There is at least some doubt as to their validity...
