TLM translation
« on: September 29, 2019, 07:08:22 AM »
Hello to everyone,

Can someone point me in the right direction where I can find an English and an Italian translation of the TLM?

Thank you,

Tommaso

Google St. Joseph Daily Missal. You can add Italian or English. As far as I know, all pre-1960 St. Joseph Daily Missals have the translation from Latin on the facing pages and looks like this, but only for the Mass it slef or the Ordinary of the Mass, not the readings:

Hello Stubborn,

Thank you for reading and replying to my post.

I appreciate the suggestion but I was looking for a version that can be downloaded as I am only looking for the recurring text of the missal, not the readings, the Gospel or other accessories to the Mass. A simple tool to follow the Latin Mass. Is such a translation available at all?

Try this one, the Mass starts on page 32, it's PDF and you can download.

Thank you. This is very useful. I appreciate your time.

I value greatly pondering the words of the rite, not merely repeating them from memory. As a novice to the Latin rite (I used to participate in Latin rite until I was 6... I do not remember any of it), may I ask you to explain how novices can follow a Tridentine Mass and understand it, without studying Latin? Do all novices buy the book that you suggested? Are there other ways to follow a Mass in Latin and fully participate (not simply repeat the sounds)?

Again, thank you for your time. I appreciate that you offer it for my benefit.
