    • I just got a text saying that the doctors just began the brain surgery. Apparently there was a lot of prep work before they were able to begin.

    My friend's sister just messaged me saying that so far the procedure is going smoothly and everything is going as planned. 

    Apparently the surgery can take 4-6 hours.  I had no idea they could take that long. 😇🙏

    • I just got this message from my friend's sister:

    "I just got off the phone with my parents!!
    The doctor said he was able to actually get more of the tumor than originally thought! When she woke up she was able to see just fine out of her good eye. She still won't regain sight from the bad eye but, the doctors were very encouraged with how much of the tumor was removed!! She was also talking to my parents and her husband after the surgery. Her husband told them she dozed throughout the night. She was (as planned) in the icu overnight for the doctors to really keep an eye on everything ❤️ My parents will be going back to the hospital in a bit and getting some more info."
