  • Does anyone know anything about this Chapel in South Carolina?  Their website states that they are staffed by the Franciscan Friars of St. John the Baptist but I can't find anything about them either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes this is the page for the friars but I still can't find any names of priests or bishops. By the design, it seems like the same person runs both websites.

According to the last link the chapel was started by a Father Bolduc of the SSPX.  It is interesting that it doesn't state any current priests.  I am not familiar with the order who sends them priests.  Maybe you could call them?

  • I will call this afternoon, was just curious if anyone here attended this chapel and knew more. I'm trying to make plans for Holy Week.

Isn't that the chapel that Bishop Bruno runs? Lux Vera has some information on it, but I don't know how up-to-date it is: https://www.ecclesia.luxvera.org/Directory-USA.html#SC

I accidentally posted this in the wrong thread.  This was supposed to be in the TLM Mass thread in The Catholic Bunker.

Thank you. It appears that Bishop Bruno was ordained by a possibly ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ old Catholic (based on his obituary) and then consecrated by an occultist bishop. Later he recieved conditional concentration from Bishop Patrick Taylor. I'll stick to the St. Anthony's or STAS for Holy Week.

I didn't realize Bishop Bruno was deceased. All I know is that the priest at the Greenville CMRI mission told me to avoid him because of his dubious orders and formation. Nevertheless, St Anthony's is an excellent option for Holy Week.

Not +Bruno but the Old Catholic that ordained him.
