  • Father Carley was admitted to the hospital.  Evidently he has fluid in his right lung, low sodium, and edema (swelling) of his feet and lower legs.  They'll be doing various tests, but those symptoms remind me of what my father had when he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.  After the diagnosis of CHF, he lived for nearly another 4 years before he finally passed away.  Just speculation, though, but I got the impression they're looking into it.

Reportedly Father refused a COVID test, which is good.  I'd be concerned that if he had tested "positive", they might have tried to give him the old Remdesivir treatment, aka death sentence.

    Dear Ladislaus,

You are very right about congestive heart failure.  The same thing happened to my father when the ER doctor was corrected by the cardiologist.  It was an emergency situation with a totally different treatment needed.  Hopefully Fr. Carley will recover soon.

And yes, the Remdesivir treatment killed Fr. Bourmaud, SSPX, RIP.

I didn't know these details about Father Bourmaud's passing.  Father B was probably my favorite priest at STAS.  We always got along well, and I considered him to be a good friend, in addition to being a priest.  Of course, we took good-hearted jabs at each other all the time.  It's too bad that Father didn't know about the Remdesivir or perhaps those who were in charge of making decision on his behalf.  If he wasn't capable of making such decisions, perhaps it was someone from SSPX who thinks very highly of modern science and believed the jab to be "safe and effective".

  • Dear Ladislaus,

Fr. Bourmaud had been transferred to Kansas City as Prior of St. Vincent's in August, 2021.  He passed away in the hospital September 4, 2021.  An SSPX priest told us that he was given Remdesivir and then put on a ventilator.  He was a very good confessor and was always willing to talk about the Faith.  His singing voice was not as strong, but his French/Latin was always beautiful to hear when he offered the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  Please pray for the repose of his soul.

Thank you.  No, he wasn't the best singer.  Of course, I pray for Father Bourmaud often.  Whose decision was it to allow him to be put on the 1-2 punch of Remdesivir + ventilator?  That was an almost-certain death sentence.  If it was some other SSPX priest, Father Bourmaud was a victim of the SSPX's whitewashing and condoning of the Plandemic.

Bingo. I was at St. Vincent's when this all happened.  Apparently there were a good number of parishioners that were alarmed that Father had been admitted to the hospital for pneumonia that they were flooding the rectory inbox with emails warning not to allow the hospital covid protocol to take place and to offer suggestions for altenative treatment options.  This is apparent because we were told shortly thereafter, from the pulpit, by Fr. Goldade, to refrain from calling and emailing regarding Father's condition, and that he was very confident that he was being given the best medical treatment available. This was a very sad and frustrating situation because it is then that we knew Father was not going to have an advocate fighting for him in the hospital and that he was probably going to be murdered by the hospital protocol.  It still makes me very upset to this day to think about it.

    Dear CathSarto,
Thank you for sharing what really happened to dear Fr.  It is just so sad!

  • Latest word on Father Carley is that he's in good spirits as they continue running tests, probably attempting to determine whether he's suffering from simple pneumonia or whether there's some involvement with his heart, i.e. congestive heart failure.

  • Good that Fr Carely appears to be making progress and that his condition has not worsened.

Let's pray it is simple pneumonia and not something more serious.  These survivors from 'better times' before the collapse are tough and determined.  A freind of mine carried on saying Mass until the day before he died at the age of 96.

  • Father Carley is reportedly doing well, and is in good spirits, and they're starting to wean him off oxygen to see how he responds to it ... while continuing to perform additional tests.  I wouldn't be surprised if he's back offering Mass again by Sunday (if they release him).

    Good to hear!
For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?
