Father Carley was admitted to the hospital. Evidently he has fluid in his right lung, low sodium, and edema (swelling) of his feet and lower legs. They'll be doing various tests, but those symptoms remind me of what my father had when he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. After the diagnosis of CHF, he lived for nearly another 4 years before he finally passed away. Just speculation, though, but I got the impression they're looking into it.
Reportedly Father refused a COVID test, which is good. I'd be concerned that if he had tested "positive", they might have tried to give him the old Remdesivir treatment, aka death sentence.
