That having been said, he's put out a lot of good videos on the specific topic of flat earth. He's not a worse choice than David Weiss or Eric Dubay. None of the major FE Youtube personalities got religion correct. Finding the true religion seems to be a real stumblingblock for "freethinking truthers" it would seem. Maybe there's just a lot of anti-Catholic propaganda in the Truth community (internet), so most truthers suck up the poison at some point...

In conjunction with the phenomenon of the Conciliar Church, indeed today's society have poisoned people against the Church.  In a different (aka pre-V2 climate), these men easily could have been led to Catholic truth.

Now, there is SOME legitimacy to blaming the Jesuits for modern cosmology (with Copernicus and the Jesuit-educated Georges Lemaitre of "Big Bang" fame) ... although they don't give much credit to St. Robert Bellarmine (who opposed much of that garbage)

Just a few minutes in, and after the opening statements that was a sloppy mess.  Moderator completely lost control, where Dave in particular wouldn't let Austin complete a sentence before talking over him.

Austin did do a great job of pointing out Dave's tactics, which are to gratuitously assert various aspects of the globe model and then try to put the burden on him to refute every one of the points he rattled on about without having proven them himself.

I watched 45 minutes last night and am going to try to finish tonight but I was hoping for a more formal debate where each side has equal time to make points and counterpoints without talking over each other.  Of course Dave starts in on the insults and condescending attitude right from the get go and Austin kept it cool for the most part but did fire a few shots after Dave wanted to go to the dirt.  I liked how Austin called out how Dave is pushed on YT and the censorship they do.  I never knew about the coffee cup light thing that was presented.  I thought that was kind of neat.

Hoping it gets more under control and the moderator makes it a little more formal after I resume about the 45minute mark but I'm not going to hold my breath.  I'll review more after I finish watching this.

Finished the debate late last night.  I thought Austin did pretty well against Dave.  Just looking at it objectively without bias I would say that Austin won, not by a landslide, but still had the upper hand and most of the people watching felt the same way.  Although Austin was not able to answer everything Dave threw at him, Dave was not able to answer more of what was thrown at him.  Austin was also more professional and straight up stumped Dave on a couple points which is why I gave the edge to Austin in the debate.  Dave mostly threw playground type insults and tried to counter everything saying it was "word salad" and Austin called it out and called out the gish galloping as well.  Dave Farina's tone and countenance even changed towards the end and he kind of looked "lost."

I'm kind of upset because Austin was supposed to show a working FE model and the host even acted like they were and I was all excited but then the debate got off on another tangent and it was never brought up!  The live comment section was pretty funny and outright hilarious in some spots if anyone paused the debate to read any of it.  The host was kind of annoying but tried I suppose.  I would have liked a more formal debate with equal uninterrupted speaking times.

I need to finish watching the debate with Dave Farina and David Weiss but it was hard to get through with Weiss's "effeminate" voice, but every flatter basically says that Austin did way better than Weiss.  Austin has other debates on his channel as well and about to watch this one...
