No Guns in the Church

At the Easter Vigil this year a man was baptized who was wearing a handgun in a holster and multiple knives in his belt.  It was amazing to see this warrior prostrate himself on the floor and make his Profession of Faith.

We need more men like that in Christ's Army.

So now his Catholics are soft targets!  He has now just announced to every criminal in his diocese that his parishioners are easy pickins.  If I was NO there I would not feel safe.  Of course they could always carry spears.

It looks nice, but I think this guy has a more practical idea.

If archbishop Gregory does not want to carry his own guns into Mass then that is his busness.

But since Pope Francis says he is throwing the doors open to gαys I almost feel that gun carry in Church might become a necessity.

Afterall, who is he to judge.

I think it is a good idea that Catholics are armed and able to defend themselves.

I agree that you should be able to defend yourself. But what do you think is going to happen that you need to carry guns into the church?

Since it's a concealed carry law, who would know if someone was actually carrying?

As much as I am a big gun guy, I do think property owners should retain the right to ban firearms from their premises.  Private property rights.

Archbishop Gregory killed two birds with one stone, (1) he equated false religions with the One True Faith and, (2) he contradicted Our Lord who told his apostles to arm themselves and to sell something if they don't have the funds for the arms.

Why do you feel the need to carry guns into the church for mass?
