Upholding lower court rulings, a state appellate court has ruled that a local zoning commission acted properly in blocking the construction of a proposed neo-Gothic parish in Mandeville, Louisiana.
The parish’s current church is too small to accommodate all worshippers, and some Sunday Masses are held in a gym, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported.
