  • An Irishman goes into a bar and orders three beers, the bar tender asks him why three beers, he replies that one is for him the others are in memory of his brothers who moved to America.

The man does this everyday for weeks on end. Then one day he orders just two. Thinking that one of the mans brothers must have passed away the bar tender goes up to him to offer his condolences. The man says "for what" to which the bar tender replies "seeing as you only ordered two beers I thought you lost one of your brothers. To which the man says
"No everyone is fine, I just gave up drinking for lent."

In two years you can have all the beer you want. And in six years I'll challenge you to a beer drinking contest.  :alcohol: :laugh1:

All alcohol tastes horrible! I don't know how any human can drink the stuff - other than for getting tipsy or drunk.

    Of course not.

If alcohol never had the effect it did, people would have not have continued to drink it when they first came upon the invention and it would have gone into "extinction". All alcohol tastes terrible. That is why when you taste it for the first time you think it is nasty and then you have to build up a taste for it. If something is an aquired taste, then it never had a good taste in the first place.
