I also found this, to make things worse:

I don't make much of the "withheld intention" nonsense.  +Webster intended to DO what the Church does, and ... had he not messed up the essential form, it would have been valid, unless, what? ... were the Pfeifferites literally holding a gun to his head?  I'd like to see this alleged interview.  It wouldn't be the first time some moron misinterpreted something that someone said, either due to lack of theological knowledge or simple comprehension of the English language.

But we don't even need to go there, since we have the video where it was clearly invalid, and the claims that +?Pfeiffer made that he had re-done it later, given lack of a followup video, and given +?Pfeiffer's lack of credibility from having argued for the certain validity of the first attempt ... we cannot regard the +?Pfeiffer line as valid, and so the intention argument is moot.

Plus, an anonymous post about an alleged interview that can mysteriously no longer be found (not even using the internet archive services) ... is nothing be hearsay and can't be used to establish anything.  People can easily fan the flames of FUD by saying anything they feel like.

Cabbage could just go on somewhere and post any unverified comments ... "I was friends with +Thuc and he personally told me that he had withheld his intention."

I've always wondered when "intention" as a condition for a valid sacrament became a thing. A muslim can baptise a child and the baptism is valid and a defrocked atheist priest can consecrate a host and perform a valid confession.

The only things we can judge are matter, form and minister.
