  • Not so convinced that Feeney had an enemy in Pius XII, but likely, someone in Curia pullingsome strings and/or filling P12 with false info.......perhaps....or not....

MO is that it is blasphemous to assert that Card Rampolla( close friend & confidant of Popes Leo, Pius & Card Raphael) was a freemason. I doubt he was legally elected. It is the Freemason Franz- Joseph that tries to 'veto' Rampolla

Possibly blasphemous is a little to strong of a term-- nearly blasphemous is probably more accurate.

The word "Blasphemy" is used in regard to words or speech directed against God, not "Cardinals".

  • Lacking in charity, yes, if there was "no proof". In this case what would be your standard for proof? A signed membership card?

Also, did you know pride is a sin? Yet you have it displayed twice in your signature. Can you explain that please? I could say that is "proof" you are championing the most serious of the seven deadly sins.

so, then, no proof on the  Emperor, though on Rampolla, there has been much more evidence over the yrs mounting.

Not sure at all what you mean by last paragraph, but my signature refers, somewhat tongue-cheek, to a series of posts and discussions 2 months ago....

saying someone is a freemason, w/o any real evidence or proof, is not charitable.....again, he was an Emperor, a serious charge to make then and what evidence is there?

    I corrected myself.

It is Franz- Joseph that is the Freemason.

The only 'evidence' against Card Rampolla is one fraudulent piece of paper.

Part of the 'proof' is that Franz- Jseph was a freemason is that he attempted to 'veto' the election of Rampolla.

Very likely, since several contemporaries had noted that ++Bea, of sketchy repute, had the popes' ear and also exerted considerable control over who else got access to him.

Why are U referring to Pius XII as 'P12'?

All take note that the posts of Belloc continue to be the sloppyist in the Forum.

LOL, you can't even spell "sloppiest".

Get away from that pot and maybe your posts won't be so sloppy, roscoe.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

    well put and highly likely

Roscoe, maybe I am sloppy, I have one ignore, you have 6 and your posting, both in my long absence and return and prior, all are asinine in themselves and I think many have "taken note" of that and your bizarre attachment to explaining SV and your sinful attachement to the Dutchie  :smoke-pot: :smoke-pot: :smoke-pot:

your assinine: "Part of the 'proof' is that Franz- Jseph was a freemason is that he attempted to 'veto' the election of Rampolla. "

and thats proof to a pot head? Rampolla gets off scott free, the Emperor is at fault? that is resutl of long yrs of  :smoke-pot: ??? many have written on liberalism of Rampolla and likely Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, that gets thrown under the bus?

also, sloppy? Joseph is the correct spelling, not Jseph.....

ok, then, will not abbreviate.....His Holiness, Pope Pius XII, Vicar of CHrist,...any other titles I should use everytime I post on him or any Pope????

thankfully, normally have you on hide, amost useful tool for the keeping of calm....

  • I don't know why I'm unable to quote using the "quote" feature. It would make this a lot easier.

Belloc, you did not answer my question for what you would accept as proof. I'm not going to chase you around other semi-related statements.

I am a native English speaker with a degree in Philosophy. So there are two things not mentioned in my bio which you should know. 1. I don't make very many mistakes with regard to definitions and the logical structure of English sentences. 2. I'm not easily distracted by moving targets and know the difference between answering a question and attempting to change a subject, however slightly.

I also know that for something to be solved it has to follow a logical progression. So I don't play the common internet forum games, and frankly I'm disappointed to see them being played on a forum like this.
