Exactly. I don't think the term Resistance is entirely dead, but your list here describes the increasing problem of calling yourself "Resistance".

The SSPX's use of the 1962 missal was not a reason for "resistance".

But he is not talking about the use of a term.

He is talking clearly about going off on their own.

The SAJM ... thing.

SAJM separating from the rest of us.

Honestly if he wants to clarify more, I'm all ears.

"
  • Doubt regarding the validity of sacraments administered by the prelates of the Conciliar Church due to intention. This doubt led Archbishop Lefebvre to re-ordain priests ordained in the new rite before sending them to the faithful. This was also the main argument for consecrating four bishops without a pontifical mandate."
  • Unfortunately this isn't really 100 % accurate and this point has been a division for decades. For example, there was novos ordo ordained priest in the SSPX Chartres area. The priest joined the SSPX very early on and Mgr Lefebvre considered that there was no need to conditionally re-ordain him. This priest told me himself that as Mgr Lefevre considered his ordination valid, that was good enough for him.
  • Those who know, know and avoid his masses.
  • There are several resistance priests in France that have a real "outside of my version of the resistance there is no salvation" aura about them. They don't say it out loud but the faithful feel this.

I know that on marriage tribunals the Bishop became more hardline.

There is that letterthe Bishop wrote saying they are all doubtful.

So its probable his thought developed.

On those points, I think we can agree with the SAJM.

The issue is more the other ones.

Many Americans may not be aware that there has been for a while effectively two resistances in France.

Some priests dont even talk to each other. It's really intense.
