Of course not. 

When I used the "following one's conscience" argument it was related to the sedevacantists and Catholics in general. You can agree or disagree with sedevacantists or SSPX or RR but they are still Catholic even if they make a theological error. If God sends people to hell just because they aren't doctors in theology, then we're all cooked. 

On the other hand, a hinduist following a false religion and acting in accordance with his conscience is also violating natural law which bans idolatry. A conscience that goes against natural law is gravely disordered. An erring conscience does not excuse actions that go against natural law.

By associating with the SSPX the priest is declaring his agreement.
Why should we be expected to drill down each and every priest.

It's about what is the prudent thing to do for a good Catholic.

If you dont care about being a good Catholic, I can't change that.
