This information may not change the minds of some, but I am seriously re-thinking my attending the SSPX when the Resistance Masses are not available.

Me too.  :scared2:

Second edition downloadable .doc file -- I added page numbers
to this, and fixed a few more typos that I missed previously.

This is a great sermon.  Fr. Girouard is a tremendous asset to
the Resistance.  His gentle and intrepid resolve is most edifying.
We have so much to learn from this giant of a teacher.

Simply a giant.  I can't think of a better word.

Third edition, same sermon. Less bold font, indent quotes,
more consistent spacing.  It's up to 6 pages.

Someone might prefer an abbreviated version that gets
to the point faster, but I'm not sure I want to decide what
to omit, so whoever is up to that task -- go for it!

If you just print the hardest - hitting sentences from this
it would be very powerful, but also easier to criticize based
on subjective judgments.  We need to avoid subjectivism.

From the Sermon.......

...So here, I don't know... You know, normally, you brand a cow! But he tells me now that the Society has been branded! So I was able to keep walking, I did not drop dead but... And then he told me: “Yes Father, that is true, and I did it!” Oh! You did it. How did you do it? “Well, when I was in Holland, District Superior, I met with somebody, I became friend with the President of a company...” (and then he named me the name of the company, it is a Flemish name which uh... is too strange to remember) but he said: “This is the fifth most successful company in Holland, so it is a very important company, a very successful company, and a couple of years ago I visited them and I met again with this man, and I asked him to take care of the Society and to do the branding of the Society, because that company is specialized in branding.”

So for those of you don't know what branding is, I will explain briefly. Branding is...

Kevin "Chuck" Connors was a Catholic.  He's buried
at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, CA.
Once or twice a year someone puts a few flowers on
his grave.  His headstone has his photo, and the Cubs
and Dodgers and Boston Celtics logos.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed
rest in peace.  Amen.

This steeled my resolve not to go, and made my decision a much more comfortable one. The temptations I was getting because I wasn't going were horrible, but now it will be much easier to fight them.
