Why would +Fellay transfer +Tissier de Mallerais to Chicago, where the SSPX has a small Chapel. Is there even a Priory?

Oak Park doesn't look like a small place, but it isn't a priory. At least not yet.

Okay this rumour has been floating around for a while. It doesn't make any sense. I am awaiting confirmation of this rather strange and unverified news.

We went there for First Friday devotions and Sunday Mass a few years ago.

I asked our Priest if we were going to get a priory any time soon a couple years ago, and he said Chicago was next at that time, so they are overdue now. How wonderful, if it is true, that Bishop Tissier would be living right here in the US! :dancing-banana: :jumping2:

This priest said he wasn't even so much as contacted- Fr. Patrick Girouard (Vancouver, Canada) -so why is he on this list?

At least keep it honest if you are going to run a list like this.

If you have names of priests on here who are on here just because they spoke out publicly than would it not behoove you to put next to their name-"spoke out publicly, status unknown" until you know for certain whether or not they face actual expulsion or not?

Does anyone here know Fr. P. Girouard?

Can this be verified, that he has not been contacted?

The bishop is being sent to Chicago not for "house arrest," but to establish the new
priory there?

I spoke to Fr. Girouard's prior at the ordinations in Econe and he didn't even realise he had given these sermons. But he certainly had no intention of sanctioning him for them. I agree, the list is a little bit blanket-like. There's a world of difference between Mons. Tissier and Fr. Cardozo for example. The latter has just spent almost a month here creating division among the faithful and attacking our priests who, in my opinion, are doing a good job. Just because a priest speaks out doesn't mean he will be expelled.
