Not really in so much as he presumably wanted to get an English edition out first to a bigger potential market.  In any event, feel free to inquire of him.  Fr. Chazal is Fr. Chazal. 

 I was very happy to read the first sentence of his preface to this book: "Dear Reader, after this book on eternal death, I shall write another one on eternal life called Eternal Crown, the two of which will be called Eternity, because "man shall go into the house of his eternity" (Eccles.12:5).

That line sounds like spin, but St. Robert Bellarmine did hold that geocentrism was proximate to dogma (its rejection proximate to heresy) and that heliocentrism was in fact heresy.

Yet another indication that the Resistance is much bigger in English speaking countries, and particularly the United States than in the rest of the world.  Still think Bishop Williamson should have been laid to rest in the US.

Does Father Chazal actually get into that "Annette" story?  I find it highly suspicious at best.  Does he add much to Father Schouppe's great book on Hell?
