REMARKABLE MESSAGES – I

The horror coming threatens massive pain, 
And that is why She warns, again and again.

When it comes to apparitions and messages supposedly coming from Heaven, to be prudent is certainly wise, because God knows, the Devil has so infiltrated the minds of churchmen with the betrayal of the true Catholic Faith by the devilries of Vatican II that these churchmen can hardly any longer be relied on to make a proper Catholic discernment for us between what is and what is not truly from Heaven, as St Paul calls upon us to do in Scripture – I Thess.V, 19–21. But one can be excessively prudent, especially when the normal Church Authority is itself in confusion. One thing is certain: just as there would be no counterfeit bank-notes if there were no genuine notes in circulation, so there would be no counterfeit Messages from Heaven if there were no genuine ones to imitate. It is up to ourselves to do our best to discern. Let us give to a series of recent Messages coming from backwoods Texas, USA, a hearing. 

The series began with an introductory Message supposedly from Our Lady – let the “supposedly” be taken for granted and not repeated in everything quoted henceforth in these “Eleison Comments” from these Messages. The “Comments” have no authority to guarantee the Texas Messages’ authenticity, but they do take them seriously enough to consider them well worth quoting. Let readers judge on their own. Here for instance are a few extracts from the first Message (last time – supposedly) of Our Lady – 

February 8: Children, the battle looms and you are asleep. I come to awake you; as a good mother who, being vigilant and keeping watch over her children, and seeing the increasing danger, shakes her children so that they may not perish without fighting. Children, these are the times announced from of old, in which the thrice accursed serpent will poison many, and interfere in what is Ours, and will rise to confuse the nations with his puppets, his servants, to destroy all that is of God, and to rule in His place. The Devil’s longing to be adored and his hatred of God have driven him to prepare, over centuries, what is now being unveiled before your eyes . . . 

I have come to you, children, time and time again, year after year, to warn you . . . but how few of you have understood me, and placed yourselves at my disposal for Me to form My army of light . . . . Children, there is no time left. The battle, Our counter-attack, begins with these Words, which We give to you as Light, Protection, Guidance and Consolation. Do not ignore them . . . they will give you the guidance that you need, now that My Church is without a shepherd to tend to My sheep, to My children . . . . They want to destroy you, children . . . receive my Words of love and consolation. 

You are wounded, my little children, some more, some less, but all of you carry wounds – from your own decisions, from the hatred of Satan – and all of you need Our healing, all of you need Our help. My children, I give my Jesus to you again, I give Him to you with all my personal Love . . . as your King . . . your Saviour and Redeemer . . . only Him, children. Only He saves. Only He purifies. Only He heals . . . . Do not be confused. Many voices try, and will try, to pass as His. Many say, and will say that they do everything in His name. But look at their works. Look at the fruits, children. DO NOT IGNORE THEM. 

And I, your Mother, will prepare you to receive the supreme Gift of luminous Faith in the centre of your soul to be able to face the present and coming times, in which everything that seemed to be stable will crumble down . . . . Blessed is he who receives these Words and allows them to bear their fruit . . . 

The complete text is rather longer, and the selected extracts quoted above do not convey Our Lady’s sense of urgency, as though we are on the very brink of the great battle due to break out. The little Catholic centre in Texas receiving these Messages has its own website – look up “Mission of Divine Mercy.”

At least the message is saying something true, and if this is what it takes for the Novus Ordo to start looking into the problem, then good (provided they continue their search in the right direction). For example, if believers in this message look up the quote "smoke of Satan" they will see that was from Pope Paul VI and therefore, the problem started back during Vatican II. For many in the Novus Ordo, this maybe the first time they realize that the problems they see in the Church started before señor Bergoglio.

Message directed to the bishops and cardinals.
You have not only let the smoke of Satan infiltrate into My Sanctuary; but you have allowed a whole army of demons to take your places.
And you have allowed the usurper to sit on the chair of My Peter – he who is carrying out the Great Treason that will leave My Church desolate.
AND YOU HAVE ALLOWED THIS.
And you carry with you the terrible Responsibility of this horrendous offense to Me, your GOD.
You have abandoned Me and you have abandoned My little ones. And you have abandoned My Jesus.
Woe to you.
Sons, listen to Me NOW. TURN TO ME NOW. Leave behind your criteria and receive MY LIGHT. You are in darkness and do not realize it.

Bishop Williamson promoting a group related to the Divine Mercy devotion? Here we go again

I agree with his methodology ("test the spirits", take each item case by case, and judge and take what is true) but in this particular case, the Mission of Divine Mercy and anything connected with them is a dead end.

Assuming we're both talking about the same Mission of Divine Mercy, a group that started in Texas.

Unfortunately it would appear the Bishop doesn't have any personal experience with the MDM. I happen to have experience with them. That doesn't place me above the Bishop, it just "is what it is" in this case. I just happen to know about them, because they were in New Braunfels, TX when I also happened to be there.

When we were courting, my wife and I would attend Adoration on Thursdays, run by them. In some ways they were very traditional -- one of the members in particular; the others were just "conservative" -- and he pushed for things like Gregorian chant, silence, prayer, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Besides other good things like modesty in dress. Unfortunately, the others were more into speaking in tongues, and Pope John Paul II.

Epilogue - the conservative force in the MDM, one Fr. Pillari, I spoke with a few years ago. He seemed embarrassed by his whole "speaking in tongues" phase. He left the Mission of Divine Mercy years ago, and studied in Rome and became a priest. Surprise, surprise, he headed straight for the Tridentine Mass. When we spoke in 2019, he actually knew about the Resistance and everything! He's a very smart man, of Italian heritage as you can tell by his last name. Not just intelligent but he has a very strong spiritual life you can tell. He's a real priest. He's NOT missing that "spark" that so many priests lack, even many Traditional ones. He doesn't get mired in the World and worldly things. He's other-worldly as a priest should be, and all good priests have been. Interestingly he didn't criticize me at all when we spoke. Very interesting.

But as wonderful a priest as Fr. Pillari is, let's just say he was the main "traditional" force in the MDM, and he left them years ago. So yeah -- not a lot of good in the MDM right now, unless you're looking for conservative Novus Ordo with a bit of Charismatic Movement and JP2 adulation thrown in.

I thought the message (and I read the whole thing) was long, rambling and lacked a point.  Fatima, on the other hand, was short, specific and to the point. 

Draw your own conclusions. 

You know the times are crazy when a Novus Ordo group dedicated to the Divine Mercy devotion is able to make these public accusations against the cardinals and bishops, while the SSPX would not dare to say any of the below publicly to the bishops and cardinals;

I haven’t read the whole account. M’thinks the good Bishop takes to new apparitiin as my kitty taketh to catnip.  
Let’s hope this one will go the course of many others, fizzle out on the damp lawn like a spent sparkler on July 4th.  

It could be that along with a New liturgy, sacraments, rosary, saints, the NO needs new apparitions to validated new devotions like Divine Mercy?

Well, they still have Medjugorje that seems to be perpetual...... 

Is there a connection between the Mission of Divine Mercy (MDM) and Maria Divine Mercy (MDM) from the Book of Truth?

No, the names are different, and they are different.

Reminds me of a Simpsons sketch. "They spell and pronounce their names differently."
