As an observer, rude and arrogant is something all internet forums tend towards, and this one is no exception-- rudeness and arrogance is something a lot of posters on here are privy to, even habitually. Basically I'm saying rudeness and arrogance definitely isn't why he was banned. At least, not if I assume Matthew to be logically consistent, which I do.

SS I saw Caminus say he wasn't for a deal if it involved compromise. I'd say that's the bottom line for most people here. The difference lies in what we think we should do or say in the meantime until we find out more.

Fellay has shown in his own words that he has compromised on his position on Vatican II. Not to mention his extreme ignorance on the Jews.

As for being rude and arrogant, I agree that someone can't be banned just for that. I myself have been arrogant before. What I was getting at is Caminus was nearly always that way. He went on uncharitable rampages and appeared to be on the verge of another one.
