It’s not a sin to bring a non Catholic to Mass.  what a great way to evangelize.

Why not just take up drawing or painting then, in order to relax?
This was quicker and easier. I find these symmetry or geometry type of videos relaxing. Though I don't watch them often, this was just some time ago.

Would it be a sin to take a non-Catholic to mass in hopes they might receive grace to convert? Or would it perhaps be a sin to take them to the Holy Mystery as they would not know or show properly respect and reverence to Christ in the Holy Eucharist?

Catholic Living in the Modern World / Re: Home
« Last post by Viva Cristo Rey on Today at 07:00:20 PM »
No place like our home and in our own bed.  (Yes, our home is our happy place.)

My childhood home and town, I feel I’m no longer welcomed.

I think about Jesus when he went back to His old home town.

Actually there weren't many people supporting at the sentencings, in the court or outside.
I'm not sure why it wasn't publicized although sometimes the defendants themselves don't want a fuss.
Personally I think it  should have  been a big deal. I was supposed to go but didn't at the last minute.
I feel bad about it.
Thank you and God bless you for giving us this important information. (Don’t feel bad.)

I see secularism creeping into pro life groups.

I remember contacting knights of Columbus and walk for life about any buses going to Indiana.  Crickets. Indifference because they answer to sodomite hierarchy and feminists.

Maybe they are. Do you think the media would cover it?
God hears our prayers when we pray from home.
I don’t hear much from other Catholic media. Not much.  Only from one priest.

I’m telling you that liberal Catholics in name only are better organized then we are.

Then I think back to Notre Shame and the persecuted and arrested 88.  Where were the pro life groups?  When these communist brainwashed college kids protest.  It is well organized and funded.

Normie context for why this is so high visibility:

1) Butker plays for the KC Chiefs, and this team won the Super Bowl twice in a row, which is a "big deal". This year also, it was Butker's field goal kick that tied the game with seconds to go and triggered overtime. Therefore, every current sportsball follower knows about this fine young man.

2) Butker's teammate is Travis Kelce, even more high-visibility beau of excessively visible Taylor Swift, pro-infanticide scantily clad chanteuse whose fans are known as Swifties. Swift is hardcore DNC and not shy about her influence on the youth vote, for whatever that's worth. Therefore, this chad-like dude who's even anti-NFP has these Swifties shrieking with rage.

Almost like this commencement speech is the latest installment of a made-for-TV miniseries. ::) :smirk:

You are so right.

My grandmother was staying with me one time and she forgot to bring any reading material. She asked if I had anything to read, so I handed her the Baltimore Catechism. I was figuring the contents within might not set well with her but I thought I’d go ahead and see what happened. She is a very fast reader. At the end of the day, she finished it, sat it down and looked at me and said “If the world would follow what was in this book, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in today.” Of course I agreed, so naturally I asked her if she thought that, why not be Catholic? And she said she couldn’t do that because her parents and oldest friends are Lutheran- that’s all she knows and she finds great comfort in her church of old.

She said this even after lamenting to me how the Lutheran church was now allowing gαy pastors and how sad she was that 1/2 the congregation left. She admitted it was wrong, but when I asked her why she would stay if she didn’t agree, she said because I’ve gone to this church for 50 years. I married your grandpa here, your mom was baptized and confirmed here and so were you. I’m too old to start something new.

I love my grandma so much. It broke my heart. That was 10 years ago. Her health is failing now, and she doesn’t have long. I’ve been thinking that soon would be a good time to revisit that conversation.
Maybe you could pray for her.
Pray you get to see your Grandmom.  We will pray for her too.

Our Catholic clergy and laity need to be more like Butker instead of caving in to Catholics.  Lou holtz was right.  I’m sure he was shunned by Notre Shame university.
