gαy marriage and abortion used to predictably drive religious-right voters to the polls. As recently as 2004, when evangelicals were credited with the reelection of George W. Bush, sex and sɛҳuąƖ mores defined the sides in the culture wars. But no longer. As the economy has become the political priority for liberals and conservatives alike...

Prots and Neo-Caths...blowin' in the wind...

What’s motivating religious conservatives now, says Campolo, is a vision of America as God’s own special country, and free-market capitalism as crucial to the nation’s flourishing.

Disgusting.  The neocaths and neotrads know no bounds.  Judging by CAF and fisheaters.

more of WWE wrestling, knock out one side of NWO, get them angry to "retake" something in 2012, just like wrestling, where the Heel 9bad guy) will win a match or 2, then the Babyface (good guy), makea  come back.....back and forth, but in actuality, while the audience is caught up in th "feud", the wrestlers are buddies and the match pre-planned and pre-scripted....

Good analogy on many different levels. Throw in the soap opera theatrics and love triangles and shady business deals, the girls in skimpy clothing, and the Mexicans in masks, and you pretty much have a microcosm of the world political system.

You know, Belloc, sometimes I even wonder if the Super Bowl and World Series might be rigged in the same way. There's so much money involved that any amount of deception or corruption becomes believable.
