I only minimally understand the Debt ceiling issue but I dont like "kicking the can down the road" as has happened once again in Congress..

spend, spend, spend

so easy to spend other people's money.

Most Americans have to live by a budget.. not DC.. nope. They are royalty
In any case, I have never found a good or valid reason to do ANYTHING with the so called Democrats whom I refer to as Demoncrats (and worse, if you get my drift)

Why bother with people who obstruct just to obstruct.. who could not care less about the American people... who ridicule us for voting as we did

they do not care about what they should care about. They are irrelevant

supposedly Trump only had 2 choices RE the Debt ceiling issue, one choice being to draw the whole thing out over a longer period of time or 2nd choice, a shorter period

well, if that is so, i dont have much of a problem w/ it but why was there only those 2 choices?

dc WANTS us to be discombobulated about its ways... that way they can pull the wool over our eyes, something they have been doing probably since the days of George Washington

I don't fully understand the Debt ceiling thing except that it is supposed to keep Congress in line vis a vis spending of the hard-earned taxpayer money

But one thing I understand very well is that you do not make a deal with the devil

the devil, I hate to say, usually wins (unless you are a Jesus "fanatic"...)

There are some Dems who are reasonable, Joe Manchin being the top of the list

I think Trump is right to try to get a deal done with those Ds. I mean, you know, it seems to be the difference btwn getting things done and NOT
