I've already provided MULTIPLE data on several threads, AND I have personal long term experience with the diet effecting and maintaining my single digit body fat %. You're lost, and you're rotund.

  • I don't have time nor interest to discussing how health really works with a text book soy boy so I'm done here, eat your veggies and oreos.
    Rotund? Not me my friend.
    I'm through here!

  • Are you a vegan, WWCS?  It seems like this subject is very important to you.  If you meet a prospective wife, will that be part of your requirements, that she adheres to the high-carb, low fat diet?

  • I'm going to start the sugar diet (sugar fasting) this Wednesday for 3-4 days at a clip and see how it goes. It's important to skip all starches as well as proteins and fats if you are going for a more intense weight loss upfront. So I will be eating (organic) sugar, fruit juices, all fruits, including bananas, non- starchy vegetables with soy sauce and any other sauces without fat. Once you lose enough weight and see how your body reacts you can add in rice and pastas as tolerated. Even during intense sugar fasting it is good to eat lean protein twice a week, but it will slow down weight loss. ( or so I have heard)
I am a type ll diabetic so I will be monitoring closely. If I can lose the weight I want I know I can kick myself out of the diabetic blood sugar range completely. I have about 30 lbs to lose

  • Yes, there are two options for type II diabetes.  Either high-carb/low fat or low carb/high fat.  But high fat-high carb is a bad combination.  I’ve lost weight doing both diets and my blood sugar was pretty good with both diets, but I think my body needs more protein since I’m lactating so I’m doing keto now.  It’s hard to get all the protein one needs for pregnancy and lactation through the high carb-low fat diet.

And this is the exact type of fast that Lent used to be.

God knows what he is doing...high carb/low fat...this is the Lenten fast of the olden days.

I’m type II.  My body works better at low carb.
May God bless you and keep you

  • Nobody else has said it, so I will… the lady in the video does not look very skinny… I thought the whole point of this diet was to lose fat and be lean and slim. Is it just her immodest outfit?

  • No matter what approach you take, you have to remove really delicious and nutritious food groups from your diet. That's hard to sustain, as I know by experience.

Lately I'm doing as well on omad as I did on keto, but with zero discomfort, cravings, and mental fatigue.

It's so easy to eat once a day, and drink water the rest of the time.

  • And one other thing. Eating carbs does not make omad fasting harder. Habit sets in, and it doesn't matter what you ate. Just eat enough at the one meal, and its a no brainer.

Working on getting to OMAD, I typically don't eat meal 1 till very late am/early pm, not hard to do that so will eventually get to OMAD

Understand where you're coming from but it does matter what you eat, if your OMAD was processed junk/heavy carb/refined sugar, that would defeat the purpose from a health standpoint...no such thing as an essential carb whereas there is such a thing as essential fats, just something to keep in mind.
