... someone had gotten into his truck last night and stole (this is the part you won't believe), his rosary...

I've found a suspect! Take a look at this story on FE.

That's what I suspected when I first read Cherly's post. Rosaries worn around the neck is the fad among those in the hip hop music industry and among wanna-be rappers and gang-bangers. If someone is going to break in to a car and steal something, I doubt they would be using the rosary for prayer.

Last year on Our Lady's B day, I had my purse snatched in the parking lot of a grocery store.
The thieves were caught.  I got back 40.00 of the 75.00 I had in my wallet.  The thieves threw my purse away.  But guess what, you guessed it, They had kept my Rosary.  I got it back!

Worry not...

God knows whose hands need to hold this or that...

We are but temporary possessors...and we know not to what end things will lead.

REJOICE...for the end is not yet in view...and YOU, and your husband, may play some role in the salvation of some wretched soul...

No, I have NOT read ALL the comments... If I have been of base, pardon me :)

Im sorry that yall lost your rosaries. I know the feeling.

But I think we can still hope that the rosaries you lost will act as mirrors of God's grace while they are in the possession of those who stole them. I mean, after all.... how many people get their rosaries blessed when they intend to just wear them as jewelry? A person can still obtain graces just from wearing a rosary. So the persons who took them most likely are slipping on Our Lady's snare right now.

You are so right Catholic!  I was surprised that of all the items I had in my purse, this young man  kept my rosary, and had it on his person when he was arrested.
