The Didache

How much authority, if any, does the Didache have?  Obviously, it is not part of Sacred Scripture, but can it be treated with the same authority as, for example, a letter written by St. Augustine or another Early Church Father?  Or should it be relegated to the same fate as the so-called "Gnostic Gospels"?

I've read it, Timothy. It's very short.

It is reverently referenced by authentic Catholic scholars.

It is devoutly held to be the work of the Apostles (which of them, I do not recall) prepared as a vademecuм for the early clergy.

As to its ranking, I would defer to those who do know.

It can be treated with the same authority as a letter written by St Augustine.

Option A.
