Quote from: Centroamerica
The only Charismatics come to Tradition is when they truly understand the errors of the charismatic movement.   When they come to the Traditional Mass, they do it usually because they like all the variations associated with the charismatic movement, so they want to see something else.  They are sometimes turned off by the lack of active participation by the laity. At charismatic places they feel important and it makes them feel good to hop around and be happy.  Then they go to the Traditional Mass and are told about the sacrifice, the silence, and contrition.  The ones I know of that have converted to Tradition, already saw the problems with the charismatic movement before finding Tradition.  Tradition was the answer to the problem that they were already seeing.  If they see no problems with the charismatic movement, then they generally don't like the Traditional Mass because they see it as opposition to them.

Not necessarily!

Here is a quote from the book summary of the EF priest in our area.

Quote
Father Moses of Jesus shows how God's passionate love is boundless and out of our control in his receiving of two seemingly opposite gifts: speaking in tongues and later desiring to offer Jesus to the Father in the Extraordinary Form of the Mass.

It is not "Jaynek's position", it is C. Ratzinger's/ BXVI.

Anyone who thinks BXVI was/is any better than Francis should listen to these videos on the NCW and the other "Ecclesial Realities": Communion and Liberation (his favorite), Focolare...They are very short news clips.

Yes, yes, that's great [not really].

Why are traditionalists still using words like EF.  This is not Traditional.  This is Ecclesia Dei speak.  There are no such thing as Extraordinary Form priests.  It is an insult to Saint Pius V and probably to God to use such terminology.

There are plenty of neo-conservative babblers in the charismatic movement.  That there is a priest catering to both I can see this.  It doesn't have anything to do with what I stated.

A few years ago I was in contact with Father Chad Ripperger who is an exorcist who used to be in the FSSP. One of the things he told me was to avoid the charismatics because numerous times he had to perform exorcisms on people who got possessed by devils through their involvement in the charismatic movement. According to him it is not the Holy Ghost who is present at the charismatic services but the evil devils.
