Millions of Muslims make pilgrimages to Marian shrines every year, reports Father Samir Khalil Samir.

Devotion to the Virgin Mary is quite strong in Islam, notes the Vatican expert in a revealing analysis for the AsiaNews service. He notes: “The spiritual dialogue between Christians and Muslims is much more promising than cultural, theological, or political dialogue.”

While some Islamic sects are hostile to all manifestations of Christian belief, countless Muslims cherish a belief in the healing powers of Marian shrines. Pilgrimages are particularly popular in Egypt, and thousands of Muslims have been attracted to reported apparitions of the Virgin.

Muslims also maintain a lively belief in the power of evil, Father Samir reports, and many are interested in the Catholic ritual of exorcism.

The challenge is, how can we bring them along to the next step and honor Mary as the Mother of God?    

Muslims reject Jesus Christ.

They respect the name of Jesus, what they reject is Jesus Christ as God. The question is, how can we get them to accept Jesus as God?  

Mohammedans do NOT "respect the Name of Jesus".

They believe in a person named Isa, whom they claim is described in Holy Scripture.

This Isa person does not exist. Our Lord Jesus Christ specifically stated that He and Our Father God "are one". Their Isa is not the Son of God.

The tragedy in all this is that none of the Newchurch rectors at these shrines are doing any evangelization. They are very likely allowing prayer to the demonic spirit known as all-h.

The only way to honor the Holy Name of Jesus is to bow the knee to His Authority which is invested in His Church.

The Blessed Mother is the Mother of God. If she's not being honored as such, she's not being "honored" at all. Just as a protestant fails to adore Christ by refusing to venerate His Mother, Mohammedans fail to venerate His Mother by refusing to adore Christ.

The answer to your "Challenge" is the same as it is to the "challenge" of getting, say, the Jehovah's Witnesses to recognize the Incarnation: Conversion.

If you meant to ask "how do we evangelize to the Mohammedans" then why not just post that question? Why frame this in such a falsely ecuмenical manner?
