Just for fun - Translate Ooey Gooey poem into Latin
« on: September 23, 2013, 09:35:04 PM »
My children are doing poetry memorization as part of their homeschool curriculum this year. They've already learned to recite 3 poems.

The first of them is quite catchy; I think it would be nice to have it translated into other languages, such as Spanish or Latin. Just for fun!

I guess I'd like to have it in another language, just for something different.

Here is the poem:

Ooey... Gooey...

The first two lines would be something like...

Ooey Gooey erat vermis.
Fortissimus erat.
