Wait, so all of this went on and Vox did nothing?

She might not have known.  I knew and I did nothing.  I didn't warn "Daddy" and I did not report it to the moderator.

So I've been thinking. I figured out pretty quickly this is a femcentric forum because most of the men who linger here are of the invertibrate, herd variety and the women tend to want to promote this behavior in men. I was amused to see only men imputing sexism to me. That's what tends to happen in a femcentric environment. The men who linger there frequently become weak enforcers of an effeminate worldview. But at first I thought it was just incidental, and I can put up with a certain amount of that. Now with this situation, however, I think the place is structurally hostile to men. Because it has this approved, structural deception that can only be maintained with the complicity of forum members. That's wrong and repulsive and indicates a heavy herd mentality, which is, like I said, repulsive when it's running the show, but also boring because it always tries to constrict intellectual play. That can make for some fun sparring at first, but it's ultimately tiresome. This specific misrepresentation of Impy/Clare stems from a false dualistic view of humans wherein we are spirits operating our bodies like pieces of equipment. But we aren't. We ARE our bodies, according to the Catholic Church. Our spirits and bodies are a unity. That's why life and personhood begin at conception. Anyway, I know enough about groupthink not to expect anything to change. So I'm just going to leave, which ought to please the herd. I might have to go search out the "crunchies" whoever they are. The way people talk about them here, they sound like they might just be ordinary men. I was fairly excited when I found Fisheaters, but now I'm bitterly disappointed.

Darn tootin'.  Funny that someone who just joined can see this, but the usual suspects can't-- or perhaps they do, and just don't care; they might even like it.

That's an impressive post.  Must be a pretty insightful guy if he picked up on that so quickly.  That or I got too used to the herd.  Seriously, it took me long enough...

I wish to retract my first post in this thread. At the time I wrote it, I had been receiving PMs from someone trying to persuade me to quit CI.  I now question his influence on me and the decisions that I made under his influence.

Whoever persuaded Jayne to leave--can we just go ahead and canonize him while he is still alive?

I took it that the thing about the poor guy unbeknownstly flirting with Impy was recent and helped you decide that FE is the cesspool rather than CI as you so publicly and dramatically announced some mere 6 weeks ago.  But I see that all of that fαɢɢօtry nonsense was back in June while you were vigorously defending Impy & Vox.

JayneK -- "It is in this thread: flirting Other things are going on so you need to skin through the whole thing."

I think both you and the Internet would be better off if you would take a break from the Internet.

Or if you can't break away from the internet, there's another FE reject that has is own blog with a readership of one.  Perhaps you could double his readership for him.  He is LaramieHirsch and he frequently mentions his blog in his posts so the link should be easy to find.  I suspect Google has it around position 900,000 if you want to simply google Hirsch files blog.  Everybody was bitching about ggreg for awhile.  But you and Hirsch make ggreg look like trad of the year.

The person who was persuading me to leave CI was Impy.  Do you still want to canonize him?

Yes, that thread was back in June.   That's why I wrote in my deleted FE post, "I am a fool for not realizing it when you were flirting with that new guy who did not know your story and he left in embarrassment and anger once he discovered the truth." I have no excuse for not getting it then.  That thread was disgusting and disturbing and I knew it.

The major factor in me finally coming to my senses was reading an article on Church teaching on transsɛҳuąƖity from a canon law perspective.  I could see the big gap between what it said and what was being said at FE.  Or perhaps it was people's prayers for me.

I have not made up my mind about my future involvement in CI.  I just had to come back to retract this thread because I was wrong.

I am wondering under what conditions, if any, people would be comfortable with having me post here.  I'll go away if that is what most of you want.

  • I am all the more disturbed that Impy had that kind of influence over you as recent as (and presumably more recently than) merely 6 weeks ago.

How do you feel about the infiltration of FE Jayne ? Now that 95% of the trads are gone there, and  tranny runs the place ?

I have been thinking about it and I think it would be reasonable to post the message that got me banned.  After all, it was meant to be a public post even though it got deleted. The context was a thread on a quiz about "How feminine are you?":

    "Clare Brigid" wrote:

Well, my Column A score was 13 and my Column B score was 26.

I have much to learn, but life is an adventure.  :wench:

    I responded:

It is all very well for Vox to say not to discuss transsɛҳuąƖity and just move on, but this poster (whom I refuse to call Clare any longer) keeps rubbing our noses in his decision to pretend to be a woman.

Impy you are not a woman and you are not going to learn how to be a woman, even if you do everything in Column B.  You are a man and I should never have gone along with pretending that you are a woman.  Back when you were a trad and had the assumptions that I do now, you knew that your decision to have sex reassignment surgery was wrong.  So that is the judgment that I am going with.  I am not buying that you have some new form of intersexed condition. There is no basis for this. You are a man with a psychological condition called transsɛҳuąƖism.

I was prepared to believe that your past mistake left you with the appearance of a woman and so you needed to live as a woman.  But, even if that were true, your appearance is irrelevant online.  Nobody is going to be shocked by seeing an apparent woman go into the wrong bathroom.  There was no good reason to give you an account with a woman's name.  There was no good reason for me to go along with pretending that you are a woman.  I am a fool for not realizing it when you were flirting with that new guy who did not know your story and he left in embarrassment and anger once he discovered the truth.  But I realize it now and I am not helping you to hide the truth any more.

I am sorry, Vox.  If you feel that you must ban me for this, rest assured that I will not be one of those people who goes around trashing you in other forums.  I consider you a friend.  And as a friend I have a greater responsibility to speak the truth to you.  The truth is that pretending that Impy is a woman is wrong.

I can't, and I won't criticize a good move, or a step in the right direction.

    Regarding Vox --

I think there's no reason to "trash" Vox anyhow. The situation with Impy, etc. has been discussed here before, and I don't think it would do any good to rehash that whole saga.

Personally, I prefer to stick to the cold facts and avoid getting personal as much as possible. The fact is that Vox is wrong; the reasons why should even be made public. But what good does calling names do anyhow?

I believe what's more important is to inform the "forum-going public" about the true Catholic Church teaching on the matter; why Vox is wrong, the truth about ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity and transsɛҳuąƖism, etc. Even general problems with the Fisheaters forum can be aired, as long as one stays close to the evidence.

  • Jayne,
I am newer here but I have been following CI for awhile; not as long as FE, though. I think getting banned from there is the best thing to happen to anyone. After a bit of using the ol noggin, who would not be grateful that they were banned from hell? Only an idiot would fight to regain their place in the inferno. I do not see a problem with your involvement here but there are people that reject to it for some strong reasons...reasons that you are already aware of. I'm sure the majority would welcome you back if you were sincere and left the theatrics in the roon furtherest from your computer.

I am not really sure what the reasons are for the strong feelings against me.  I've been thinking of asking, but I'm afraid that would come across as too "theatrical".

I get that people don't want an "all about me" thread, but I need help understanding what is expected from me here.

There are so many things that I find objectionable on this forum that I can no longer remain here in good conscience.  I do not want my name associated with it.

What is the procedure to have my membership ended?  Matthew, please ban me if that is what is required.

    God bless you all.

Why not PM Matthew instead of opening a public thread?

Because I wish to be publicly disassociated from this forum.

Jayne,  why are you still here?  ?    Have you nowhere else to go?

I'm beginning to think you really are a the  drama  damsel in distress  actress that has been observed by some.

I, for one, hope that you'll stay here, Jayne. I'm going to try to stay away from the FE threads here, since I've said all that I have to say about it, and Matthew has summed up the situation well.

A word of advice for participating on this forum (since I also tend to be contentious). When you see something that someone has wrote that bothers you here - just ignore it, if you can. It doesn't bother me anymore when others are contentious, but I'm trying to learn to be less so.

Since this forum really represents all trad views, things are allowed to be discussed here which aren't allowed elsewhere. I like this approach, even though I may disagree with some of the views.

It is also a good idea to read Pascendi as has been posted here already. It's a good reminder of how the modernists and liberals think.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

    ~St. Robert Bellarmine
    De Romano Pontifice, Lib.II, c.29
