This is why I brought up yesterday the young (like 15) pregnant girl with her stomach proudly exposed (meaning bare) for all to see that she will soon give birth to her illegitimate child with her loser boyfriend schlepping along side of her.  I couldn't help but remember how, when I was growing up, this was such a cause of shame that the girl was quietly sent off to a home for unwed mothers.  In forty years, the country has done a complete turn around.  No shame.  And no dignity.

And now they want to lower the age even younger - eleven.

Now I know why the prophecies said that the living would envy the dead.  The world has, to me, become unbearable to live in.  It's nothing but a moral cesspool and religious insane asylum.  

May Our Lord have mercy on us all and forgive us, for we truly don't know what we are doing.  At least most of us.

The other female reviwers are all the same.  One says that it's evil, it's twisted, it revels in the abuse of children -- but darned if it isn't entertaining.

These are the same people who call for the Pope's head with moral indignation at the Church sex scandals.

Meanwhile they promote child abuse on film including children dressing like prostitutes and cursing like sailors.

For someone like me who, for over ten years, was trying to write films, I have posted remarkably little on this site about Hollywood.  "He who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the kingdom of heaven."  I have ignored the steady stream of trash coming out of Hollywood, because I think everyone here knows what it is.  I don't want to give it any more attention.

So today I've been trying to figure out why this movie bothers me so much, and I think it's that I somehow identify with this little girl.  When I was writing movies, I was brainwashed by popular culture and thought what I was doing was "cool," while now it causes me deep shame ( I was coming up with stories that mixed apocalyptic Biblical themes with evil shock value myself ).  So yes, Alexandria, you don't know how right you are.  We are so deep into the Apostasy that most of us really do not know what we are doing -- demonic possession must be at an all-time high.

But it's one thing for the devil to exploit me through my own pride; it's another entirely for professional adults to exploit a child with almost the full consent of a worldwide audience.  This girl doesn't know what she's doing or saying.  This exploitation lends something REAL to the movie, someone is REALLY being harmed, their innocence tarnished for the pleasure of the mob.  If they had hired a young-looking 20-year old to play a 13-year old, this problem wouldn't exist.  It would still be a revolting film, but it wouldn't have the unique rottenness that this one has.  

Yeah, there are lots of adults who exploit children in much worse ways, but what gets my goat about this film is what it says about the worldwide public.  To compare this film to child porn would be over the top, but it definitely shows a sort of hatred of children and innocence that taps into something deeply disturbing about the collective hive mind, like the world has just decided to systematically divest itself of every last bit of the sacred and to plunge into the abyss.  It's as if people, having lost their innocence to the degree that they have, cannot stand seeing innocence in anyone else, even children.  Everything has to be leveled, everything has to be made ugly.  People can't breathe anymore unless they have befouled their environment enough to make them comfortable, like pigs in the mud.
