This thread is based on vanity. Whether sedes are, in our eyes, really impressive or dimwitted bulbs is irrelevant to whether someone is standing fast in the Catholic faith or not.
As for what I have seen, most sede chapels are very impressive in their piousness and devotion.
The CMRI is pretty darn impressive as an small organization but it is more importantly a very devout group. The CMRI chapel in Akron impressed me immensely when I visited. The SSPV chapel in Cleveland impressed me also. But along these lines, every SSPX chapel I have ever visited has impressed me also. The devotion to Catholicism is what has impressed me.
The marble floor at a local novus ordo circle church is extremely impressive and that floor, if undisturbed, will remain impressive for many decades are probably even centuries. No serious person would be impressed with the devotion of the parishioners nor the priest.
I think the Francisco brothers, the twin priests in the CMRI to be fairly impressive, they impress me with their devotion to the Catholic Church.
I guarantee there are some ph.D's in novus ordo run schools whose level of erudition would be very impressive by any university standards but you get nothing but indifferentist mush from them regarding Our Lord.
