Long before Vatican II, the Church caved in to the world and its money interests by gutting God's law against usury. Of course, over the course of the centuries, we've seen a redefinition of usury, which is now "excessive interest." This may sound familiar for those of us who are "Feeneyites" and have seen the gutting of God's law of "No Salvation Outside the Catholic Church."

Both of which, of course, preceding the dreaded Vatican 2.

And now we have the Church caving in to sodomy. A natural unnatural progression.

Here's from an article by Mark Shea in the National Catholic Register:

You live in a civilization that no longer has a big problem with either. However, Dante’s thinking is this: He regards human activity as oriented toward fruitfulness that must spring from only two sources: Nature and Art. So, for Dante, a man is legitimately wealthy if he, say, grows a crop and sells it or makes a hat (or a poem) and sells them. Likewise, in the sɛҳuąƖ realm, he is simply an ordinary orthdox Catholic who thinks that sex has the natural ends of union between husband and wife and the getting of children. That’s what it is for, just as eating is for the twin ends of nutrition and conviviality. So sɛҳuąƖ acts, whether contraceptive or ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ are “dead” acts that lead to no fruitfulness.

Okey doke, but what does that have to do with usury?

Well, for Dante, since fruitfullness can only proceed from Nature or Art (or, as we would say today, “raw natural resources and manufacture of goods and services”), it follows that mere chicanery by which dead gold or silver are made to “breed” by manipulation of interest rates by those who lend at interest is another form of perversion. So he links the sins of sodomy and usury. Both ignore Nature and both are forms of fruitfulness perverted to sterility and the attempt to “breed” something unnaturally.

Our civilization is currently undergoing the consequences of its addiction to usury and we still do not know where the bottom is. God willing, his mercy will triumph over our folly. Whether we will likewise figure out that our addictions to unnatural sex whether contraceptive or ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ shall likewise end in sorrow is still to be seen.

And yet, for all of this, the Magisterium was "indefectible" before Vatican 2 according to the Sedes and their cohorts. Sure. "Watch our lips, not our hands" - works quite well with some people.

But hey, it's all good. We can redefine "magisterium," "no salvation outside the Church," the "necessity of the sacraments," "indefectibility" . . . and "usury" - the latter way before any of the "Conciliar" Church's popes' and prelates' great-great-great grandfathers were born.

If only the link to Usury & Sodomy had been clearly explained to us early on and throughout our Catholic lives?

Hopefully, things would have been different ?

Dr. E. Michael Jones explains the unnaturalness of Usury well, by the anecdote of the jew.

Instead of working, the jew makes money copulate... to make more money.

Yes, if only it had been explained. We had to discover it by reading gentleman like Mr. Jones and Michael Hoffman, and going to their citations.

But then, who would explain it to you and I? The "magisterium," in the sense of the "teaching" hierarchy? With its "interpretation" of the divine law prohibiting usury turning it into something with more holes than Swiss cheese? With it's Vatican Bank? The same "indefectible" hierarchy that has taught BOD in catechisms and allowed saints and theologians and to teach the same and issue things like the Holy Office letter . . . even long before the "defection" of the "Conciliar" Church?
